South Asian Games Return to Pakistan in 2027

The South Asian Games are set to return to Pakistan in April 2027, with the 14th edition of the games featuring 346 medal events in 28 sports across Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar.

Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Chairman Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan welcomed a South Asian Games delegation led by President Pakistan Olympic Association and South Asia Olympic Council Arif Saeed, announcing the event would take place from April 3 to 11, 2027, with around 3,200 athletes participating.
